§ 44-250. Inspection and observation.

  • Application for a county permit to land apply sludge or septage in the county shall give the county manager or his designee the authorization to inspect or observe any such treatment and land application and also shall give the county manager or his designee the authority to enter upon any land upon which the county permittee has identified as land which the county permittee has permission to land apply sludge or septage for any purpose consistent with the responsibilities delegated to the county manager or his designee hereunder, including taking photographs and soil samples. In addition, the county permittee shall, upon request, provide the county with samples of the material being land applied and/or allow the county manager or his designee to enter upon the land upon which the county permittee is land applying so that compliance with all federal and state regulations can be determined by independent testing.
